16 Nov SOL Mobility Demo Day
Smart Open Lisboa is a program that fosters collaboration between startups and key players in Lisbon, with the goal of helping startups to establish a pilot with real data and in a living environment. Hosted by Beta-i, the program focuses different verticals, targeting current challenges faced by the city. In the case of CardioID, we took part in the Mobility vertical, making the case for our CardioWheel technology, an all-around driver assistance solution, encompassing vehicle, road, and driver monitoring for enhanced safety and security. Following an initial Bootcamp in July, we have been developing a pilot with Ferrovial Serviços, where we installed CardioWheel, along with Mobileye and Geotab devices, in 10 vehicles, including light cars and heavy trash trucks. Planned to run for six months, we presented preliminary results during the Demo Day, held in the Carris Museum in Lisbon. Attendees included municipality officials, as well as perspective partners and clients such as Carris, Cisco, Axians, Daimler Trucks, and Tomi. Check out our short video below.
