CardioID highlights AI-driven health sensing at CARNET Ecosystem Day 2024

CardioID was invited to present at CARNET Ecosystem Day 2024, a flagship event convened by the mobility research hub CARNET — initiated by Volkswagen Group Innovation, SEAT S.A., and Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC) — that brings together startups, industrial partners, and key stakeholders shaping the future of mobility. Throughout the event — held at CASA SEAT, Barcelona, on May 22 — spotlight themes included Software-Defined Vehicles, Mobile Infotainment Systems, V2V/V2I, and Predictive Maintenance.

During the event, CardioID presented its AI-driven biometric sensing technologies, emphasizing the intersections between driver monitoring, wellbeing, and the health of the driver. The presentation showcased how cardiac signals and advanced analytics — including drowsiness detection and Hands-on-Detection (HOD) models — can support a new generation of intelligent vehicle systems that seamlessly integrate performance, safety, and human-centric awareness. By engaging with leading innovators in connected mobility and AI, CardioID also demonstrated how health monitoring can evolve as a native feature of next-generation automotive platforms.

CardioID’s participation in CARNET Ecosystem Day 2024 reinforces the company’s commitment to innovation at the crossroads of mobility and digital health, fostering collaborations that drive safer, smarter, and more sustainable transportation ecosystems.
