In collaboration with ISEL – Instituto Superior De Engenharia De Lisboa , CardioID was proud to host a training and scientific meeting of the IVORY Network, a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions doctoral network. IVORY brings together 15 PhD students focused on researching and developing innovative solutions to bring ethically sound AI systems applied to road safety, being aligned with the EU’s Vision Zero strategy (eliminating traffic fatalities by 2050).
During the 3 days of the event (June 4-6, 2025), the doctoral candidates had the chance to present the work done so far, and to discuss challenges and opportunities for collaboration within the IVORY network. The PhD students also received specialized training on ADAS systems (provided by Haskoning ) and on sensors and physiological data (provided by CardioID).
We hope everyone had a productive and inspiring stay in Lisbon!
