Our developer team was at Pixels Camp, the trendiest hackathon in Portugal. Our project was an internet-connected TV remote with embedded electrocardiogram (ECG) and photoplethysmography (PPG) sensors. This, in combination with a TV app, allows everyone to easily keep track of vital parameters at home. The system is able to track heart rate, weight, blood oxygen saturation, and systolic blood pressure, which are frequently used to assess and monitor various health conditions, such as heart failure. Following the hackathon, we will prepare a proof of concept to demonstrate the capabilities and feasibility of CardioRemote as a product.
